Our aim is to make new ideas work for you and to ensure that everything we produce is safe and durable. We therefore offer technical advice and support where necessary. This may, for example, include supplying the finest quality fittings for shower doors, running gear for sliding glass walls, or simply the correct adhesives for fixing our special glass sheets.
Load bearing units and other architectural details featuring our elements, such as glass balustrades, can be supplied with detailed technical data, from one of our experienced installation team. We make prototypes, working mock-ups, and frequently test elements to prove that they are of the highest standard.
So, whether you wish to install a glass wall feature in a nightclub or just have a splashback fitted in your kitchen, you can be assured that it will be of the highest standard in quality for durability as well as being artistically unique.
Note : All glass is manufactured to a tolerance of +/- 2mm, and polished as standard.
Objects in Glass kitchen splashbacks are fabricated from 6mm thick low iron glass for optimum clarity, which is then toughened to British standards. All kitchen splashbacks should be affixed with a low modulus silicone adhesive (which we can supply). We cannot take responsibility for any issues caused by using adhesive other than those specified here. Thicknesses can be adapted, if required, subject to agreement.
All of our double glass systems, fabricated from 4 or 6mm thick low iron glass – toughened to British standards- are to be fitting in accordance to the instructions as detailed by Objects in Glass. All fixings and adhesives will be supplied unless otherwise agreed.
